Hallo !
I´m very happy to find this eGroup, have been reading Raghavendra K.Padasalgi´s
definition, for a start.Thank you, I agree.
About myself: I am living  my daily life with the translations of vedic scripture by
A.C.Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, since 25 years or so, in Sweden, without
visiting any center or being a member of any group. BUT: I have one strong motivation,
that is to write a book which NEVER ENDS. Every page in this book is send to whom
I call "the perfect reader"; one living devotee of Lord I learned  to accept when - so many years ago - I WAS visiting the temple.
He approached me and proposed this "deal" - that I should write and he would simply
listen. Because he knew that I was excited about writing.
Thus, the "book that never ends" is still going on, more and more dynamic...
I have complete freedom to write about anything all the time - of course ONLY in the
light of whatever my knowledge would be about Lord. Nothing else would interest the "perfect reader",that´s why he actually IS "perfect": He is NOT interested in anything
else but LORD. To satisfy him...kirtanam,I must keep on reading...sravanam...etc.
The nine bhakti-stages are kept alive,by my lusty desire of writing.

Prabhupada writes: "The important thing is that anyone who accepts bhakti-yoga-
principles and the Lord as life´s summum bonum and the highest and ultimate goal,
can reach the Lord in spiritual space."
Anyone needs - speaking from my own experience - "urge of love for Lord".
I, for instance, love/need writing,so I "offer" my best writing to Lord, instead of using it
in order to earn money, become famous etc.
By the grace of LORD > the "perfect reader".

I found this devotionfollower-group under "sex and religion", which is very interesting.
As we all know, sexlife is the real material enjoyment, and everybody´s problem
should be how to turn this neversleeping sexual desire into a spiritual one.FOR GOOD ! Or:
AsYOGA is "linking with Lord" and MAYA is "material illusion"(who cheats and
punishes her blinded followers) - I need >YOGAMAYA, material illusion which
links with Lord. Indeed the best friend of all great devotees. But even of me who
am tiny.

I think we should not keep this for ourselves. Let as many as possible find his/her
way !It is not "un-followerish" to have ideas !
One crazy idea of mine: Let everyone, who can show life outside Lord, have the YOGAMAYA-PRIZE !
The very action  of "not finding" the Lord would of course help anyone to find Him. As LORD is  everywhere....

Can we provide free "urge of love for Lord" ? I believe we can, BECAUSE: that´s what my "perfect reader" actually did for me !
What do YOU think ?

Sincerely yours
            Rathje

Right now, we (Myself from seattle, Prasad from San Diego, and Vinod from

Australia) are doing this out of pure enthu and nothing else. Once our site

becomes popular to our satisfaction, we might think about some commercial

aspects and then we can definitely compensate you. I hope you understand

that.

Please lemme know what do you think about this.

Thanking you in advance

Sri Raghavendrarayare,
Writing is a difficult art (or craft) and philosophical writing is tough task! Sir, you have written about Madhwa philosophy in simple language so that the 'pandita & pamara' can easily understand!
